MultiElast 30 x 20

Product information "MultiElast 30 x 20"

MultiElast

MultiElast is a self-adhesive, bitumen-free waterproofing tape against water under pressure in shell construction for both construction joints and precast element joints. MultiElast is a multi-purpose waterproofing for construction joints and for precast elements. MultiElast can be laid directly into fresh concrete to seal construction joints. As a self-adhesive squeeze seal, it is glued onto the joint flank of a precast element/component. When the next component is installed, the sealing tape is compressed in the joint and thus seals the resulting joint up to 10 m water column.

Advantages at a glance

  • Simplest processing
  • Installation without further aids or tools
  • Waterproof as a pinch seal immediately after assembly
  • Flexible even at low temperatures
  • Tested pressure watertight up to 1,0 bar
  • Weather, acid, alkali and salt resistant
  • Can be combined with other Elast products
  • Processing from -5°C to +40°C
  • No swelling on contact with water

Applications

  • Sealing of precast concrete joints
  • Sealing of all types of precast joints
  • Sealing of construction joints in the field of cast-in-place concrete

AgrarElast Primer B(eton) - one-component

AgrarElast Driving silos of JGS plants and biogas plants have to be specially sealed due to the new AwSV regulation (regulation on plants handling substances hazardous to water, valid since 01.08.2017). For the renovation and new construction of facilities for the storage and filling of liquid manure, slurry and silage leachate (JGS) - mobile silos, fermentation feed silos and solid manure plates - as well as biogas plants, only construction products may be used that have the appropriate building authority approvals. In order to meet the high requirements for the permanent sealing of JGS plants, the joint sealant AgrarElast is subject to regular product monitoring and material testing. In addition, AgrarElast is a joint sealing system approved by the DIBt (German Institute for Construction Technology) (Z-74.62-176). The newly developed product from BT innovation can thus be reliably used for sealing joints in JGS and biogas plants. AgrarElast is a sealant for sealing microbiologically and acid contaminated joints, for areas with composting and fermentation processes. The system can be used to seal silos, warehouses, solid concrete manure slabs and asphalt. The system is suitable for movement joints and is characterized by high temperature resistance. The AgrarElast joint sealing system consists of AgrarElast joint sealant and primers A(sphalt) for asphalt and B(eton) for concrete. Primer A is suitable for asphalt, asphalt concrete and bitumen. This product is a set consisting of components A+B. The primer B is suitable for concrete, metal and glass, among others. Advantages of the joint sealant AgrarElast AgrarElast can be used to seal joint areas between concrete or asphalt. AgrarElast is also suitable for movement joints. The appropriate primers are required for pretreatment. Here are all the advantages of the joint sealant AgrarElast at a glance:   Sealing joints between concrete - concrete, asphalt - concrete and asphalt - asphalt Accessible / passable High allowable deformation of 12.5 Very high temperature resistance compared to sealants based on PU and bitumen Weathering and UV resistance Simple and safe processing Stable with only low shrinkage Approval (abZ: Z-74.62-176) from the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) Solvent-free, isocyanate-freeFor safe use, you are welcome to contact the BT technical staff, who will provide you with competent advice and instruction. Application and possible uses AgrarElast is used to seal storage and filling facilities with substances generally hazardous to water, e.g. in: JGS and biogas plants Solid manure plates Digestate silos Driving silos Wastewater systems The AgrarElast joint sealing system, with its approval number from Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik Z-74-62-176, has all the necessary verifications for these applications. Fields of application: Sealant for microbiologically contaminated joints For areas with composting and fermentation Joints that come into contact with acid Technical information: The AgrarElast is a 1-component, permanently elastic adhesive and sealant for highly stressed joints in the agricultural construction sector. Technical characteristics of the AgrarElast: Color black Hardness (Shore A type) 55 Allowable deformation 12.5 Temperature resistance -40 to +100°C Working temperature +5 to +35°C Tensile strength approx. 2.3 N/mm² Through-curing* approx. 3 mm/24h * measured at 23°C and 50 % rel. humidity   Primer A(sphalt) is a 2-component epoxy primer for the pretreatment of bituminous substrates when joint sealing with AgrarElast. As a pretreatment agent for asphalt surfaces, it is a component of the approved AgrarElast waterproofing system (approval Z 74.62-176).   Primer B(eton) is a 1-component primer for the pretreatment of various substrates when using the sealant AgrarElast. As a pretreatment agent for concrete surfaces, it is a component of the approved AgrarElast joint sealing system (approval Z 74.62-176). Observe the hazard and safety information on the Material Safety Data Sheets of the AgrarElast and the primers. Product features and variants of AgrarElast Art.-Nr.
