GFRP spacer bar The GFRP spacer is a profiled rod made of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP). The spacer guarantees dimensionally accurate production of core-insulated double walls. Due to the profiling, the rod achieves high pull-out and punch-through resistances. The ends of the rod are partially injected so that the ends are tapered, but the rod still has a centric bearing surface and thus does not buckle laterally. The centric loading means that the spacer does not deform in height and no oversize has to be planned. Furthermore, the taper at the end serves a quick and easy penetration into the fresh concrete, as larger aggregates are simply pushed aside. The surface visibility of the bars is almost non-existent due to the taper at the end. The bar has a high resistance to alkalis. Benefits energy efficient - thermal bridge free adjustment of wall thicknesses powerful - high tear-out and punching resistance due to profiling Cost-effective - low assembly costs due to quick and easy installation compatible - perfect complement to the ThermoPin® Applications core insulated double walls Residential & commercial construction, single or multi-storey Technical characteristics and variants of the GFRP spacer bar Art.-Nr.
