PREREQUISITE FOR DELIVERY
What does "We deliver to curbside" mean?
Delivery is made by truck and "to curbside", i.e. to the nearest public curbside to the delivery address, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
There is usually no further transport to your property, home or other location. Due to their tight schedules, drivers are usually not able to undertake such a service.
IN WHICH CASE A DELIVERY BY TRUCK IS NOT POSSIBLE
Delivery is usually made by 40-tonne truck-trailer (dimensions: length: 18 m/ width: 2.80 m/ height: 4 m), as you can see from the pictures below.
Please note that delivery of the goods to the delivery address "free kerbside" cannot take place in the following cases due to the lack of accessibility with the truck by the forwarding agent:
- The delivery address is located in a street or can only be reached via a street that is considered a traffic-calmed area/"play street".
- The delivery address is located in a street or can only be reached via a street whose trafficability is prohibited for vehicles with a permissible total weight of 40 tonnes.
- The delivery address is located in a street or can only be reached via a street which is narrower than 3.25 metres or which is restricted to a passage width of less than 3.25 metres at a point to be passed during delivery due to obstacles such as parked vehicles or a construction site.
- The delivery address is located in a dead-end street.
If one of the special features mentioned above applies to the desired delivery address or if you are unsure about this, please contact us by e-mail or use the contact form before placing an order.
If a delivery with a 40-ton truck is not possible, we can deliver your goods personally within a radius of 50 km (starting from 39116 Magdeburg). Our customer service will help you to clarify whether or to which location a delivery can be made and whether a special delivery is required. The shipping costs and delivery time may then change.
Do you have to be on site for the delivery?
Whether you need to be on site for the delivery depends on a few factors.
In this case, you must be on site:
- If you are expecting a delivery by a forwarding agent, have not ordered unloading and have not filled out a parking permit, we ask you to be there in person at the time of delivery. On the one hand, to confirm the delivery in writing and, on the other hand, to unload the goods.
- Please organise an unloading aid (forklift, wheel loader, tractor, etc.) or sufficient people to assist with unloading by hand so that the maximum standing time of 30 minutes is not exceeded.
- Please note that you must be physically able to lift a weight of up to 30 kilograms.
In this case, you do not have to be on site:
- You do not necessarily have to be on site for the delivery if you have filled out our parking permit, and you have also booked unloading by forklift. The parking permit must be filled out separately if necessary.
What delivery methods are available?
Our goods are shipped to you in different ways. The type of shipping depends on many factors and is displayed directly in the shopping cart.
We ship the goods using the following shipping methods:
Parcel shipping
Parcel shipment XL
Small shipment
General cargo shipping
General cargo XL
Bulky goods shipment (without unloading)
Bulky goods shipment (with unloading)
General cargo & general cargo XL
The shipping type "General cargo/Piece goods XL" is selected for short and light goods. This shipping method does not include unloading. You unload the goods yourself. Since the goods are usually short, handy and light, unloading and transporting them is normally not a problem. The forwarding agent will of course allow you a certain amount of time for this (approx. 30 minutes).
Bulky goods shipping
For orders containing a larger quantity of goods, we reserve the right to change the shipping method to bulky goods shipping in order to ensure professional delivery. You will not incur any additional costs.
The delivery of a bulky goods shipment is carried out by means of a 40-tonne semi-trailer truck. You will receive the delivery within the stated delivery time, without a fixed delivery date.
Please note the dimensions of the truck in order to be able to better estimate the local conditions for unloading.

What delivery times are possible?
For delivery times, please refer to the respective product pages and the order confirmation that you will receive after placing your order.
There is no delivery on Sundays and public holidays.
You are welcome to inform us of your personal desired delivery date within the planned delivery time in the comments field when ordering. We will then check, based on our logistical possibilities, whether we can realise this for you.
Is delivery to the construction site possible?
It often happens that the delivery address differs from the invoice address. You are welcome to let us know if this is the case. Our dispatchers will check a construction site delivery for you and discuss the possibilities with you.
Is delivery abroad and to German islands possible?
You would like a delivery abroad or to a German island? We would be happy to discuss the requirements for this type of delivery with you.
Is self-collection possible?
Of course, you have the option of collecting your order directly from us (Sudenburger Wuhne 60, D-39116 Magdeburg). To do so, select the "Pick up yourself" option in the shopping cart.
Our collection times are Monday to Friday between 7:00 and 16:45 (special times are possible after consultation).
Please note that self-collection of your goods is only possible from Monday to Friday.
Depending on the possibility, we will also be happy to help you with loading. Simply contact our friendly warehouse staff.
We will inform you immediately by e-mail as soon as your goods are ready for collection.
Unfortunately, collections without a booked appointment are not possible. For any queries regarding self-collection, please feel free to contact us at info@bt-innovation.de.

When will I receive an appointment for delivery?
As far as your order has been picked, you will be notified by us by e-mail. Your commission will finally be handed over to the tour planning department, who will also contact you by e-mail with a delivery date.
Our dispatchers will finally inform you of a delivery date (time slot).
Do I have to unload the goods myself?
With the "bulky goods shipping" type of shipping, you can unload the goods yourself, but if you do not want to do this, you can of course also order an unloading service.
Only applies to bulky goods shipping.
Do I have to check my goods upon receipt?
Your consignment has been carefully and conscientiously put together. Unfortunately, it can still happen that the ordered goods do not stand up to the desired volume or the agreed quality.
Should you notice anything upon receipt of the goods, be sure to note any discrepancy on the shipping company's delivery note.
