Battery Mould and Butterfly Formwork®
We have made it our mission to leave the world a better place than we found it. That is why our new formwork system is extremely efficient and compact. One area of application for the battery mould and the associated so-called butterfly formwork is low-cost housing projects in emerging countries and in crisis areas, or serial housing construction in Germany.
Battery mould
The battery form is used for the vertical, simultaneous production of slab-shaped precast concrete elements with 5-sided smooth surfaces. For this purpose, battery moulds contain several concreting pockets suspended in a frame (therefore also called pocket battery).
Butterfly formwork®
Butterfly formwork* is a special type of bulkhead for battery formwork. They consist of two formwork panels that are connected to each other via a solid swivel joint.
Butterfly Battery® Mould
The specialists at B.T. innovation GmbH combine the advantages of horizontal and vertical production for panel-shaped precast concrete parts. This is made possible by a foldable switching table that can be removed from the battery, the so-called butterfly*.
