BT-Spannschloss® Set (BT-Turnbuckle)

The BT-Spannschloss® is part of an easy-to-use connection system - without any further additional materials or aids. The BT-Spannschloss® enables rational and precise assemblies as well as permanent connections of precast concrete elements. By using the BT-Spannschloss® and corresponding fasteners, precast elements can be connected to each other without a mineral grout. This eliminates curing times and weather-related downtimes. In addition, the BT-Spannschloss® can also be used at low temperatures and can be fully loaded immediately. The building authority approval (Z-14.4-599) certifies the reliability of the product. The BT-Spannschloss® is offered in three sizes - M12, M16 and M20 - and is available in galvanised or stainless steel finishes.

Load capacity (rated resistors)

• Design values for the tensile load-bearing capacity (limit tensile force) and for the shear force capacity (limit shear force) according to DIBt approval Z-14.4-599.

In the case of combined loading due to the design values of the acting tensile forces and shear forces, an interaction check must be carried out.
